Why we don’t talk about 100% Cashmere products?
To answer this frequent question, we should remember that cashmere is not a very sustainable fiber. In fact, each kg of wool obtained from cashmere goats generates 9 kg of CO₂.
For environmental impact
Recycled Cashmere is the only one that allows us to take benefit of this fiber without having a great impact on the environment.

For fiber regeneration
The cashmere regeneration process inevitably involves new percentages of other fibers into the product. For example, if only one single wire of a button should remain in the recycling process we’ll not obtain a 100% pure cashmere.
For our company policy
This is the reason why our regenerated products haven’t the 100% Cashmere composition label. In fact, you will find a 98% WS 2% AS composition label or 95% WS 5% AF composition label. We care to be honest and clear with our customers, highlighting the artisanal nature of our products and our responsibility to the environment for more than 30 years.
